Supply Chain Stock Controller

TOP-TOY is looking for a skilful Stock Controller in our Supply Chain team which is responsible for supply chain operations for all TOP-TOY units in the Northern countries and Germany. Apart from eleven dedicated colleagues in the Supply Chain Team, you will also be working closely together with the rest of the organisation, which is based in Vallensbæk, Greve and Hong Kong.

TOP-TOY will in 2018 be in-sourcing all e-commerce warehouse activities to Greve Distribution Center in a project called Supply Chain 2.0, which will optimize and secure the future Supply Chain solution for e-commerce activities in TOP-TOY.


The tasks as Stock Controller

The most important tasks are in the following areas:

  • Responsible for the operational launch of the Supply Chain 2.0 project in relations to tasks and responsibilities carried out by the Supply Chain DK team.
  • Participate and be a main driver in cross-functional project planning and roll-out
  • Making guides, manuals and business process procedures
  • Controlling of all in-coming shipments from overseas and domestic suppliers
  • Allocate volume splits between e-commerce and the store fleet
  • Controlling of the physical flow and replenishment of goods for e-commerce
  • Analyse, monitor and communicate status of e-commerce activities
  • Stakeholder management incl. coordination with e-commerce commercial teams
  • Alignment of activities with inbound/outbound operations
  • Daily operational participation in e-commerce Supply Chain
  • Performance Management of Supply Chain e-commerce activities


The position entails good possibilities for developing and you can influence the job content very much as this is a new position in TOP-TOY.


Who are you?

We are looking for a person who sees it as a positive challenge to be a part of increasing the quality of stock controlling and who thrives on a mixture of development tasks and monthly recurrent tasks.


Your educational background is an MSc, Bachelor of Logistics/Supply Chain or alternatively You have a commercial background combined with practical experience within FMCG/retail stock optimization.


You are with sound professional qualifications and you can communicate principles and procedures in a way that is easy to understand both orally and in writing in Danish and English. You are used to working with deadlines and you make it a point of honour to deliver to or before the agreed deadline. You are a super user of Microsoft Excel and you regard it as a positive challenge to use IT tools to find better and more efficient ways of doing things. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not a requirement.
